Finally finished redoing the banners.

I don't really like square-ish ones, but at least I managed.

The slogan can't fit actually, I'm sorry.
It was only there where Light is because there's nothing else to put.

ps: I didn't mean for the naruto one to be smaller!!! >< (I really like that one because of the bg)

lol i knew about GIMP,... just never cared much for things like PS and GIMP... but i guess I should learn... (If I'm going to make websites and stuff, (which I already do,... in my spare time) that look professional I'll need a skill like this for banners, buttons/ backgrounds...).

Mar you need to so one day help me with my banners and crap. they are just in black and white at one time in your life can you like teach me? ^_^ thankiez!!

so just play around in gimp.
and i'm sure you can find some tutorials on the inet.
srsly, there's tuts out there. you just need to go find them.

and i'm happy that i'm inspiring people to get some creativity out.

as an amateur GIMP-er myself, trust me:
it a hell of a lot more fun to just figure things out on your own.
but, tuts are available when you just cant figure something out
for instance: I [to this day -_-] cant figure out blending [kinda sorta makes the bg & image looke kinda blended together, hence the name] but I found a tut for it and it made it slightly easier to figure out.

as far as the banners go: Katie likes the middle one. (hinthint; pokes Tai)

playing around in things like GIMP is (of course) fun... but a big question I have is how did you make those backgrounds???

brushes.
just regular brushes w/ different colors.
and some playing about w/ filters.

i'm not rly the best, and i think that my bgs are just.... blah.


my old comp died, so i don't have my old brushes w/ me anymore. TT_TT
i hope to get them back soon, but i still need to buy some blank dvds (long story).

lol dont say bad things about your work cuz its amazing,... actually you could probably make money by doing stuff like that, i know that there are a lot of jobs available over the internet that involve logo, banner, and background creation for people who arent exactly creative or computer savy lol
